Escape Academy, a puzzle game, was published by iam8bit and Sky bound games and developed by Coin Crew Games. This is a game where you get an opportunity to train to be the best escapist by solving puzzles, brewing the tastiest cup of tea, hacking the server, and meeting the faculty. The players take up the character of students who are being trained to become master escapists.
The most exciting thing about Escape academy is the sense of discovery you will experience as a player once you start exploring various escape rooms. You will look forward to breaking the ace by solving each quite adventurous puzzle. The escape rooms that you will meet in the game include Introduction Room which gives the players a chance to be admitted into the academy, The Breakout, Under Pressure, Escape Artist, Trial by Taste, Lab Rat, Tea Kettle, Where’s the Smoke, Tea ‘N Tea, The Rival Room, and What Lies Below which is the last escape room.
As you move from one escape room to another, keep taking notes to help you solve puzzles as the game proceeds. This is because you will come across some logical puzzles that will need you to think critically to understand, while others are simple and easy as they will require you to find a hidden key or put objects in their proper places. You can also be needed to decipher a long coded phrase or solve a Sudoku puzzle.
Escape Academy is both a solo game and a co-op. It will be easier to solve puzzles within the given timeframe as you might encounter a part of a puzzle put at a far distance from each other. Completing such tasks takes the shortest time possible if you are playing with a friend.
Several puzzles can require you to use a combination of three or more digits to open. If you have few clues, try and guess what the other digit could be, this might help you solve the puzzle rather than leaving without attempting.
You can intermingle with other players in the escape rooms. However, there are other characters that you can interact with as well. This includes the school‘s faculty. You will find a faculty meeting in charge of each escape room. Talking to them gives you more information on how to solve a particular puzzle.
Although collecting items found in escape rooms is essential, not all of them could be of any help. You can be blown up if you make a wrong move. Instead, wait for a clue to guide you on what needs to be collected.
Escape Academy’s puzzles differ in their level of difficulty ranking on a scale of 1-5. The final escape room has the highest level of difficulty. When faced with difficulties, remember to check your notes and think harder; even the items you had collected at the beginning of the game can be helpful. When you are completely lost on what to do, do not hesitate to ask for a hint from Escape Academy. However, this should not always be the case; try to figure your way out.
